In Cahoots 2017: And the Winner Is …

Beth Beechie

And the winner is … all of us!
DaviesMoore has selected Family Advocates as the winner of our 2017 In Cahoots partnership program—a pro bono marketing and advertising contest held annually, with the winner receiving 1 year of our services.
So how did all of us win? Because Family Advocates has, since 1978, been working to ensure the safety and enrich the lives of children who have been victims of abuse or neglect. And when children are protected and families are strengthened, thousands of lives are changed and our community improves.
Family Advocates was started by two sets of longtime foster parents seeking to improve the lives of even more children. Today, it operates four programs in 10 counties across Idaho. Those programs are Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Youth Enhancement Program (YEP!), Parents Anonymous, and BabySteps.
Family Advocates was selected over a number of other high-caliber and high-impact community organizations seeking to partner with DaviesMoore in 2017. It was not an easy decision, but here’s what made us ultimately come to our decision:
Family matters
At DaviesMoore, we don’t call ourselves a staff, or even a team. We care about each other and communicate with one another the way a family should. It makes us a better agency. So it makes sense that Family Advocates—an organization all about strengthening families—is an organization we feel well positioned to help.
This is our house
Boise is where we do business and it’s where we live our lives. When children are empowered and their lives are enriched, communities thrive. We hope that doesn’t mean we’re actually being selfish!
We got this
In the marketing world, a good ad agency makes sure the client’s needs are aligned with the firm’s talents. Family Advocates is seeking to make its brand more recognizable to current and potential supporters and participants. Branding refresh expertise? Check. The organization also wants to recruit up to 160 additional volunteers to staff its programs across the state. Messaging and outreach strategies? Check.
