Finding the right person for the job can be difficult, especially in a business like ours. We are just as motivated to find the right person for the task at hand as we are to find a family member to add to our brood. While sometimes it feels impossible, there are rare moments when the universe conspires in our favor and a relocation times up with a new job posting to create a perfect scenario.
Before I even received Danielle’s application, I was sent an email from her employer:
“…we are crushed to see her go — but would feel better knowing that she’s able to extend her expertise and training to a fellow leading Idaho Ad Federation member. She can literally check off everything on the list that you put require, including having worked in HR. She’s also well-versed in agency operations and workflow. Anyway, she will be following up with all of the information you requested, but I wanted to give you a heads up that this might be an easier search than you anticipated.”
And indeed it was. After completing our thorough candidate search and interview process, we selected Danielle to join us in a new position as our Office Manager and Operations Assistant. She’ll be responsible for keeping the office in check, managing HR functions and assisting with a variety of operational projects. She’s hit the ground running and is already showing her skillset and providing value to the collaborative process. We’ve talked about how much the team will rely on her and I’m excited to make her our person – the one who anticipates the needs before the ask, who knows what we’re thinking and who will make this agency an even better place to work.
I can’t wait to see the magic we’ll make together. Welcome to the family, Danielle!
