Storytelling isn’t only in the script of a spot. It’s in the scene.
Every sight and sound influences an audience’s perception of your product or service. That’s why we approach set design as strategic over decorative, building environments that embody the brand. Our recent work with Mountain West Bank and Zamzows prove that a well-built set speaks before the script ever starts.

Both sets were built entirely from scratch—turning empty space into elevated scenes. Without the erratic elements of a live location, we were able to concentrate on the quality of production instead of constant problem-solving.
For Mountain West Bank, we built a lobby that looked and felt familiar without tying it to any one branch—ensuring the concept could apply to every customer experience. Our mission was to create a space that mirrored the bank’s commitment to customer service. Every element was designed to make viewers feel at ease, from the warm ambiance to the soft seating arrangements. Accents of the bank’s signature green and blue were also woven into the space, establishing a clear connection to the brand throughout. The finished set signified the assurance and approachability of a place where service feels personal.

Where Mountain West Bank called for calm familiarity, Zamzows was all about color and character. We wanted audiences to see that they’re the place people turn to for answers—no matter how quirky the question. That meant channeling their neighborly personality into every prop and paint choice, letting their bright green guide everything from the store sign to plant pots. Rather than an exact replication, we aimed for an idealized store experience full of light and life. Each key product category was carefully placed to reinforce the brand’s range. The result was a set that felt fresh, alive and unmistakably Zamzows.

That ambition also marked a milestone for our agency: ten spots filmed in two days, the largest internal production to date. Unlike past productions where certain processes were outsourced, our team handled every step internally—with the help of a few contractors.
Eight team members assumed duties beyond their daily roles—among them our art director, who led set design. This creative control ensured each decision and detail stayed true to the client and campaign. Plus, having internal team members already immersed in the brand meant only a handful of external contributors needed extra context—streamlining communication on set.
While not every production can or should be executed fully in-house, our agile, capable team takes full ownership when the concept allows. To deliver the strongest outcomes for our clients, we carefully evaluate each idea and assemble the most effective mix of talent—sometimes entirely in-house, sometimes by partnering with specialized production studios to bring additional scale and skills on set.
Because every effort comes back to production value—ensuring sets, performances, and visuals always work together to bolster a brand.
