FUN FACT: In college, I saved up to surprise my boyfriend (now husband) with a hot air balloon ride that took off in the field behind my sorority. We didn't know that the balloon pilot was a daredevil until he started playing "touch and go" by landing and taking off in the Moscow golf course. The last time he didn't time the takeoff well and the basket got stuck in the top of a tall pine tree while the balloon was being blown by the wind. We ended up horizontal with the three of us in the basket sandwiched facing the ground. For a few terrifying moments, it felt like we were going to get dumped out of the basket. When the basket broke loose, there were pine branches stuck in the basket. I still have a small pine branch from that trip.
