Maddie Anderson

Graphic Designer

(she/her)

Born and raised in Seattle, Maddie knows her way around an overcast day—but don’t let her rainy city roots fool you! With a personality as bright as a summer day, she brings the sunshine wherever she goes. After trading in the rain for Utah’s wide-open skies to study graphic design, she didn’t just hit the books—she also hit the road, doing stints living in both Honduras and Italy and traveling to many countries around the world. Her time in college wasn’t just about design; it was about discovering new cultures, new foods, and an obsession with the perfect blend of nature and creativity.

Now, as the newest design dynamo at 116 and West, Maddie brings all that creative energy (and a few epic travel stories) into every project. When she’s not turning ideas into visual magic, you’ll find her in the backwoods adventuring with her husband and their fearless dog Sage—who, let’s be honest, is the real boss of the pack. Whether she’s crafting a killer design or planning her next big trip, Maddie tackles everything with enthusiasm, a sketchbook, and probably a few dog treats in her pocket.

Education

  • BFA in Graphic Design from Utah State University with a minor in Art History

What is a small thing you feel extremely passionate about?

Audiobook voice actors. If I’m spending HOURS listening to this person read to me, they’d better be pretty freakin’ good at what they do. Julia Whalen, I don’t know who you are, but you have the voice of an angel. I’ll listen to any book you narrate!
